Since its inception on December 1, 1988, World Aids Day has been celebrated annually to commemorate the lives of those who have passed on as a result of contracting this disease and those who are currently living with HIV/AIDS. Various campaigns are launched in Jamaica and around the world, and they are aimed at educating the masses on issues such as practicing safe sex and getting HIV/AIDS tests, click here to find out where they will be conducting free HIV/AIDS tests near you this year.
We are responsible for our own health and safety, so it’s imperative to get tested so that we know our individual status. Ladies, if you're in a relationship, don’t be afraid to talk to your partner about this topic and possibly even getting tested together.
To pay homage to those who are directly or indirectly affected by HIV/AIDS…. I created this SUPER simple nail design.
So until my next post…. Remember to be safe and wrap it up!
